18th Century Caps for 3 Classes of Women
We will explore the variety of caps worn by women in the last quarter of the 18th century then begin constructing a cap to fit the social class of our choice. Please refer to our facebook page for registration information.

About the event
Participants will see a presentation of a variety of styles of caps worn by the different social classes of women in the late 18th century as seen in period images and museum samples. They will learn about the different parts of a cap, the stitches used in construction and how to fit a cap to their head. They will begin constructing a cap to be finished at home.
